On October 19, Dr. Ouellet will take part in the Bromont Ultra, an 80-km trail race with a positive vertical drop of around 3,500 metres! This is his second attempt to complete the event, after being stopped by rain, mud and time limits last year at the 67th kilometer.
This charity event raises funds for various organizations. This year, Dr. Ouellet has chosen to run for the Fondation Cité de la Santé, a natural choice for him since he devotes a large part of his life to the cause as a resident in family medicine.

He started his family medicine residency at Cité de La Santé in July 2023 and did not imagine how captivating this teaching and learning environment would be! Cité de La Santé offers an exceptional setting for training family physicians, with constant access to passionate specialists who are always ready to share their expertise. He is currently completing his second year of residency and is considering developing his practice in the Laval region. Additionally, running helps him maintain a balanced life throughout his residency, and practicing this sport in nature further enhances its benefits for him.
