The 170 cyclists traveled 325 km round trip between Laval and Trois-Rivières on September 9 and 10. Our ambassador, Olympic champion Charles Hamelin, was at the event and covered the distance visiting the four pelotons during the weekend. When they arrived on Sunday at the Laval Integrated Cancer Center, the emotion was great, several participants being close to people with cancer or having themselves gone through it.
“We are really impressed, again this year, by the positive and humanist energy that emanates from the 300 km for LIFE! This flagship event for the Foundation fills our hearts with pride and emotion every year. We would like to thank all the participants, partners, donors and volunteers who made such success possible. Thanks everyone! » - André Malacket, general director of the Cité de la Santé Foundation.
The money raised will make it possible to finance the acquisition of cutting-edge medical equipment, to offer ever more innovative services to patients treated at the Laval Integrated Cancer Center and to contribute to clinical research projects being carried out at the CISSS de Laval. and which literally save lives, every year.
