A book to remember
It was on March 13, 2020 that COVID-19 was officially declared a pandemic, transforming our society and putting healthcare workers at the forefront of the battle against the disease.
A moment that will live long in the memory. A story of dedication, courage and resilience.
Dr Joseph Dahine wanted this story to be told.
Thirty-three members of the nursing staff took up pens and brushes to write about it, describe it and heal from it. Art has enabled them to alleviate the traumas they have experienced. Dr. Joseph Dahine has chosen to bring these poetic and artistic works together in a collective work to be purchased in benefit of the Foundation.
So today is the time to pay tribute to the heroes on the front line, our healthcare professionals and essential workers who risked their lives to protect others.
This book is a work of memory, theirs and ours.
By purchasing this book, you are also making a donation to the Cité de la Santé Foundation. Profits will be dedicated to improving patient care and to initiatives that promote the appreciation and recognition of healthcare personnel, in order to better respond to the most urgent needs in OUR community.
